David A. Katzman
David Katzman is a certified public accountant licensed to practice in the State of Florida and the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. He earned the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification in 1998..
Mr. Katzman earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Miami. He began his career in accounting with a large regional accounting firm in Coral Gables, Florida. He then moved north to work with the tax department of a New York City-based national accounting firm, and then became manager of a local firm in the Boston area. In 1993, he formed his own firm in Boca Raton, Florida. In July of 1999, he merged his firm with Goldstein Lewin & Co.
Mr. Katzman has worked extensively with both individuals and businesses in resolving accounting, auditing, and tax issues. He also has particular expertise in providing financial, estate, eldercare, and trust planning advisory services to high net-worth individuals.
Mr. Katzman has been providing services to the elderly for the past 15 years and formalized his eldercare practice 6 years ago. He has appeared on WPEC-TV (CBS) news and WFLX-TV Fox 29 Morning News in Palm Beach County, "You Should Know" local access cable in Miami-Dade County, and on the WAXY-AM radio program, "Money Matters," heard in Miami-Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach Counties to discuss eldercare issues.
He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Massachusetts Society of Certified Public Accountants and the Financial Planning Association.
Mr. Katzman resides in Boca Raton, Florida with his wife Michelle and family. He is active and serves in professional advisory positions on the boards of several local philanthropic organizations.
